The Connections Group Business Development Managers are not your average sales managers.
They are brand ambassadors who are lateral thinkers and love delivering return on investment for our clients. Our BDM’s proactively create and develop relationships with key decision makers within target organisations to present our value proposition of service excellence, cost management and genuine value with the objective of acquiring new business.
The position operates as part of the broader national sales team, whilst leading the achievement of sales in the relevant state. As part of a collaborative and seamless client service model, our BDM’s continue to ensure the effective management of the clients’ life cycle in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
What you will bring…
- You’re an expert communicator and influencer, confident in building long lasting, mutually beneficial and multi-level relationships.
- You challenge the status quo and always look for areas of improvement and opportunity with prospective clients.
- You love delivering a ‘best of fit’ TMC / Client relationship and are proud of your track record in achieving long term clients.
- You get a kick out of being an analytical and critical thinker.
- You will have extensive business development experience in travel or travel related industries.
- You love technology and have experience and high proficiency with various OBT’s and CRM’s.
- You can work autonomously and are comfortable owning client relationships in your state.
