WHAT was once known as the CT Connections Travel Group is now Connections Group of Companies, heralding the arrival of a refreshed new-look name to mirror the exciting and engaging direction the company is taking with service offerings in the travel industry.

The rebrand to Connections Group of Companies further strengthens the core value, spirit and purpose of the group which has offices in Melbourne (head office), Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Connections Group of Companies market-leading brands include CT Connections (corporate travel management), Totem Group (conference and events, incentive/group travel experts), Executive Edge Travel (tailor-made personal luxury travel designers) and The Departure Lounge (online travel and lifestyle magazine).

All four brands have experienced significant growth in recent times.

Essentially, the group of brands are all about creating meaningful connections, events, journeys, collaborations and moments for clients through their travel experiences domestically and internationally.

Boasting an excellent reputation within the travel and service sector as the partner of choice in Australia, all brands have an underlying belief that “connection” is what drives us all as human beings. Connections that give purpose and meaning to our lives, hence its tagline “Every Connection Counts®” as it adds value to all business partners, clients, suppliers and employees alike.

Sharon Ho, Connections Group of Companies Head of Marketing says: “Our decision to rebrand to the Connections Group of Companies allows us to showcase our collective brands, the interconnection between the brands, and to also show each brand’s offerings go beyond corporate travel.”

“More importantly, we are dream weavers. Through teamwork and good listening, we help connect dreams and turn them into reality. We are in the business of making sure that every experience our clients encounter is done with passion, respect and innovation. We’re community minded. Our director Gary Reichenberg consistently shares the UBUNTU philosophy which includes the essential human virtues: compassion and humanity. Through these aligned shared values and principles, our group always achieves service excellence.”

Sharon adds: “When re-branding, we ensured our communication elements, logo, brand colours and style encapsulated our values. We are very pleased with a logo which starts with the foundation of a reconstructed ubuntu symbol. The three links also represent people connecting/ interacting and the circle holding it all together as one, with the need to support each other and co-exist prosperously – hence ‘Connections’.”

About Us

Founded in 2000, it all started with Executive Edge Travel in Melbourne, servicing both business and luxury leisure travellers. The group grew with the launch of Corporate Travel Connections (CTC) in 2010 which saw a quick expansion to other states including Western Australia in September 2010, Queensland in March 2011 and NSW in October 2011.  Totem joined the group in May 2014.

Last year travel media hub The Departure Lounge was launched and serves as a public facing online travel & lifestyle magazine which is powered by the Connections Group brands.

Connections Group remains independently owned by Gary Reichenberg who sits as the Director of the Group and employs 140 people across seven offices in Australia, with plans to expand to New Zealand, and collectively draws on more than 18 years’ experience. Through strong brand values and strategic human efforts and connections, the company has consistently grown while staying true to its core business: customer-centric service.
